What it takes to join the security team
Fermilab seeks security professionals who are prepared to protect people, respond to emergencies and work effectively with others. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience
- A valid driver’s license
- A 20-hour Basic Security Training certificate
- An Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
- At least 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
- Basic computer literacy
- Customer service skills
